Twice a year, the North Watuppa Pond (our water supply) "turns over" this is due to temperature changes in the water. Material in the pon is agitated and combines with the chlorine we use for disinfection to form compounds that , even in small amounts, create the taste and bad smell. The water is safe and this natural phenomenon occurs for a few weeks. Once nature takes it's course things will return to normal.
